Lights, Camera, Auction!

Russian community of Detroit is not the largest one and it is not very tight one either, but I’m trying to do my part to support our little community by using services of the same Russian immigrants just like myself. Leah form Leah Thoughts gave me a wonderful idea to take pictures on mothers day with my moms. Being an active user of Facebook I asked if anyone knows a good photographer in our area and within minutes my FB friends gave me the name of a wonderful young lady, who is by day working in the medical field, but by night and on the weekends taking beautiful pictures. Her name is Irina Yasenetskaya and here is her website. Check out what she did for us:

About Ariana

I came to USA about 20 years from former USSR. I am an American Citizen with a heavy Russian Accent. My two boys always make fun of my English. I love to write, I usually do it for me, but if you would like to stop and leave a comment it would be great! I ‘d love to share with you my American World with the hint of my Russian Personality.

What a beautiful idea for Mother’s Day, not to mention how fantastic the pictures came out! This is truly something you should do annually!

Ariana, what lovely photos! I agree with Audrey, this is worth repeating another year! The one with all of you with the yellow flowers is my favorite! 🙂

    • Thank you Bella. It was the first nice day and we fully took advantage of it. We already said that we are going to do that every year and hopefully my husband and my father in law will join us too 🙂

I’m so glad I could inspire you! I love the photos! The yellow flowers in the grass give it a beautiful touch of light. But my favorite photo is the sepia toned photo of you and your boys. You look so happy and pretty. Just precious!

  5. Olga you are too kind, I am just very photogenic! Thanks for the complement!

Oh wow! Those pictures are simply wonderful. Tell her to move to Kansas for short stint. 🙂
